Applications Engineer (Electronics)

Applications Engineers help with design, test and verification of integrated circuits, modules, boards and systems.  If you’re interested in a variety of challenging applications, from jet engines to the surface of Venus, then this is the position for you!

  • Qualifications:
    • BSEE, BSME, BSCE/BSCS or similar
    • MS in similar fields desired
  • Desired Skills:
    • Experience with schematic design of analog/digital circuits.
    • Comfortable with programming in languages such as Python.
    • Hands-on experience and comfort with benchtop/laboratory environment a plus! (data collection, etc.).
    • Ability to solve problems
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Duties:
    • Creation of specifications and data sheets to capture application development process.
    • Designing analog/digital boards and integrated circuits.
    • Putting designs into practice.
    • Written and verbal reporting

Applications Engineer (Systems/Packaging)

Applications Engineers for Systems/Packaging will drive integration of electronic system components and develop and implement device/system packaging solutions.  This position will be involved from prototype to product, mechanical to electrical.  Challenge yourself today with this multifaceted position!

  • Desired Skills:
    • Experience with electrical system integration and device testing.
    • Experience with embedded systems design/programming, circuit designs, and schematics.
    • Hands-on experience and comfort with benchtop/laboratory environment a plus! (data collection, etc.)
    • Ability to solve problems
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Duties:
    • Testing and troubleshooting of electronic devices/systems.
    • Designing and implementing electrical/mechanical electronic packaging solutions.
    • Suggest design changes for manufacturing and provide feedback for producibility.
    • Written and verbal reporting
