The Applications Engineering Intern supports engineering projects by developing software, integrating hardware components, and ensuring adherence to compliance standards within a collaborative team environment. This role involves applying technical skills to solve real-world problems across multiple disciplines. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain software applications, primarily using Python, to support engineering initiatives. Integrate and utilize APIs to enhance product functionality and data exchange. Collaborate with the team on code version control using tools such as Git. Apply data privacy principles and compliance standards relevant to the industry. Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software and hardware interactions. Support foundational understanding of network concepts for system integration. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to facilitate requirements gathering and solution delivery. Qualifications: Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Python programming; familiarity with other programming languages is advantageous. Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs or similar web service protocols. Understanding of version control systems such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. The intern will gain hands-on experience in high temperature electronics design and/or packaging, working closely with experienced professionals in a dynamic environment during the internship period Key Responsibilities: The following roles and responsibilities will be trained: Assist in systems modeling, testing, and circuit design, fabrication, and packaging. Participate in team meetings and contribute to project brainstorming sessions. Support the development and testing of new packaging strategies. Analyze data and present findings to the team. Document and report on progress and challenges encountered during projects. Qualifications: An applicant must meet ALL below criteria.
